So some of you may know that this past week Jess @jsxu was diagnosed with eye cancer. Luckily it was caught early but its still very serious and he had emergency surgery on Thursday, and we’ve have to stay in a hotel from last Sunday to the coming Monday.

All of this is very expensive, and what makes it worse is that our insurance denied the claim to pay for the surgery, so we had to borrow over 40k to pay for it. We just applied for an appeal to get the money back but theres no guarantee that they’ll change their minds, and even if they do we still have to pay for the anesthesia and hotel room out of pocket.

We were already tight with money so we really need any help we can get to put some money towards the expenses. If you want to help out here are some things we’re currently running:

• Jess has an online store that sells super cute buttons and stickers that you can preorder
  

• I’m taking commissions (examples here) on a pay-what-you-want basis
  

• Jess has a Buy Me A Coffee button on his blog that sends him 2$ through paypal, or if youd rather go straight through paypal his email is jeess456@gmail.com
  

• He also has an amazon wishlist, just incase you’d like to send something to keep his spirits high 
  

tldr; Jess has eye cancer and we had to borrow a lot of money so we’re trying to raise some.
